The Harley/Humidor PC
For when you need something “Bad@ss AND Classy”… – Bill Gulley
Where to begin… Well… Pops wanted a new computer that was bad@ss… **Ooohhh I know… A Harley themed computer!!!** But also classy looking… **Fancy, like something ain’t nobody else got.** (And I’m paraphrasing here, but anybody that knows him will agree; that’s probably spot-on.)
Well a few months, a lot of blood, sweat, and tears; as well as countless trips to the local Harley dealership later… (Shout out to Byron for always helping me figure out which parts “would be perfect for that!”) **Why yes Byron, that Chrome V-Rod Oil Cooler Cover does look perfect for the IO Shield… Wait… It’s HOW MUCH?!?!…. Fine… just give it here… it is, in fact, perfect…$$$** That’s pretty much how every conversation with Byron went, but regardless he was a tremendous help.
I won’t go into the major build details just now, but I will update with a full post later. Just know, it took months… Late nights, after work, full weekends in the shop; pretty much every free minute I had was devoted to this build. Paint, sand, cut, drill, rinse, and repeat. And I loved every second of it. And I’m very thankful that my wife put up with me during the whole process. LoL
Also note, that I took a bazillion pics during this build, but I couldn’t put them all on here. So I just had to pick and choose a few for each project. I hope this is enough to convey what kind of undertaking this was… and without further ado…
